Users whose IP address doesn't change, is wrong or is not displayed in the Turbo VPN App can follow this guide.
Reasons for these issues may include:
- Your device or browser may have cached your IP address, which can cause it to display your real IP address.
- There may be connectivity issues between your device and the VPN server, thus preventing the IP address change.
- The particular server went wrong/under maintenance.
How to fix it?
Follow the steps below to solve these issues. Skip the following steps if solved.
1. Refresh the server list
By refreshing the server list, Turbo VPN can:
- Find you the latest available servers, including the newly added servers.
- Recommend the fastest server based on your location and network conditions.
- Find other available servers when you have connectivity issues.
2. Change protocols
Sometimes, VPN protocols will have difficulty keeping a strong connection. If you are using Automatic / Open VPN (which we generally recommend), you could try connecting over ISSR/ IPSec / Ikev2. However, we recommend sticking with Automatic whenever you can for the best experience.
3. Contact the Turbo VPN support team
If all the above steps can not help you connect to our servers, please contact our customer support team for instant help. For time-saving, if you have already performed the previous steps, please give your relevant test results to customer service
