Installation can't proceed: VCRUNTIME140.dll was not found

If you're getting the "VCRUNTIME140.dll was not found" error while installing Turbo VPN on your Windows PC, it usually means your system is missing or has a corrupted Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable package.

Follow these steps to fix it:

1. Install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable

Since Turbo VPN requires VCRUNTIME140.dll, you need to install the latest Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable:

• 👉 Visual C++ Redistributable for x64 (64-bit)
• 👉 Visual C++ Redistributable for x86 (32-bit)

✅ Steps:

1. Download and install both the x64 and x86 versions.
2. Restart your computer.
3. Try installing Turbo VPN again.

2. Check if VCRUNTIME140.dll Exists on Your System

1. Open File Explorer and go to:
   • C:\Windows\System32 (for 64-bit systems)
   • C:\Windows\SysWOW64 (for 32-bit systems)
2. Look for VCRUNTIME140.dll.
   • If it exists but is corrupted, follow Step 1 to reinstall Visual C++ Redistributable.
   • If it's missing, move to Step 3.

5. Uninstall & Reinstall Turbo VPN

   • Press Win + R, type appwiz.cpl, press Enter.
   • Find Turbo VPN, right-click, and uninstall.
2. Download the latest version from the official Turbo VPN website.
3. Install it and check if the issue is resolved.

6. Update Windows

2. Click Check for updates and install any available updates.
